Banae's Story

For twelve years, Banae was my shadow, my best friend, and the reason Wellhaven Collective exists.

This is the story of what I missed --- and what I learned.

Like many dog owners, I believed that if I loved her well, cared for her, and gave her good veterinary care, I was doing everything I could to help her live a long, healthy life.

When Banae later experienced health challenges, I found myself looking back and wondering if there were things I'd missed. 

There were little everyday behaviors I never thought much about --paw licking, eating grass, occasional odor.  Like many parents, I assumed they were normal dog behavior.

That journey led me to learn about canine wellness, nutrition, and the role gut health plays in a dog's overall wellbeing.
