Wellhaven Collective Skin & Coat Soft Chews

I have two Cocker Spaniels Bella and Bentley aka itchy and scratchy. They are senior dogs and need support for skin, coat and itching. The chews are made with good wholesome ingredients. Worked for a major animal supplement company for years. Good omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins C & E and brewers yeast which are all excellent for skin and coat support. They do smell like a supplement not beefy, chicken or cheesy. Which my question is what is the natural flavoring? Some dogs are allergic to chicken and does not specify what the flavoring is. Bentley ate it right up, Bella not so much but had to because she didn't want him to get hers. Both struggled a bit with old teeth to chew them up. The bone shape is cute. I like there are 60 chews so with two dogs at one a day makes them affordable. With any supplement do not expect overnight results they take time to work. I am seeing better coat shine, faster nail growth and some less itching thus far in a few weeks. End result supplements help dogs imo they are in the teens and doing great. Very happy made in the USA with no artificial ingredients. I am more selective about what I give my dogs than myself lol

I got these because my Ridgeback spends a fair amount of time using her teeth to nibble on her skin. She does not have any bare spots or redness, but I keep thinking something is making her skin itchy, like the ragweed that is causing issues for people. This product comes in a cute bone shape and both of my dogs love the treats. I started out giving my big girl only one, to be sure it did not cause any GI issues, but she quickly went to the full dose of 3 and has not had any issue. On top of that after a week of taking these daily she has stopped the nibbling. I have not seen any change in how her coat looks, but it was already pretty and I will judge if it is making a difference in appearance after at least a month of use. My smaller dog has no obvious itching, but I give him one a day because the ingredients are healthy and may benefit him as well. I recommend pet owners to try this product. It is more palatable and easier to administer than liquid Omega 3 vitamins.

I’ve been giving these to my dogs daily to help with their coats and some seasonal dry skin and shedding. The biggest win is that they actually like them. My Dobermans come running when they hear the container because apparently they’ve decided these are treats, not supplements.The soft chews are easy to give, don’t have an overwhelming fishy odor, and I like the combination of omega-3s with Vitamins C and E. After using them consistently, their coats seem softer and have a nice healthy shine, and I’ve noticed less dry-looking skin.I also appreciate that they’re made in the USA without a bunch of artificial additives. Dosing is straightforward based on the dog’s weight, although with larger dogs you do go through the container faster. The price is reasonable for a daily skin and coat supplement, especially considering I don’t have to fight with them to take it.

My pup absolutely loves these Wellness Haven soft chews — he thinks they’re treats, so giving them is easy. I started using them for my older dog who deals with seasonal allergies and began getting hot spots last year. I may have started these a little late this season since he was already itching, but after about two weeks on these chews, his hot spots have cleared up and he’s definitely doing better.The itching hasn’t gone away completely, but it’s noticeably less than it was a few weeks ago. I don’t expect anything to eliminate seasonal itching entirely, but these do seem to help and give him some relief. The fact that both dogs love the taste makes it simple to keep them on a consistent routine.One thing I wish the brand provided is more information about product testing — especially whether these are third‑party tested. The ingredients look good, but clearer testing details would give me more confidence.Overall, these chews are tasty for the dogs, easy to give, and seem to offer real improvement for skin and coat issues.

Seems to work great! No odor so dogs don't sniff their upper lip at this. Coat seems to have improved and less itching after 1 month of use. Will keep this in the mix.

My dog is a senior and has sensitive skin, so I’m always careful about what supplements I give him. He already takes an omega-3 supplement daily, which I normally have to hide in a piece of cheese because he won’t take it on its own.When I opened this container, the first thing I noticed was the smell reminded me of dark chocolate, lol. I thought that might make him interested in trying one as a treat, but unfortunately he turned his nose up at it. Apparently he wasn’t impressed! I ended up doing what I normally do and hiding it in a small piece of cheese, and he ate it without a problem.It’s still too early to tell whether these will make a noticeable difference in his skin or coat, so I’ll have to see how he does with continued use. I do like the ingredient list, which includes omega-3 fatty acids, DHA, vitamin C, and vitamin E. I also appreciate that they’re made in Florida by a U.S. brand and are made without artificial ingredients. I try to keep my dog’s diet as natural and preservative-free as reasonably possible.The container includes 60 chews, which I think is an excellent value. Based on my dog’s size, he needs two per day, so one container is approximately a one-month supply. Overall, I’m pleased with the ingredients, quantity, and price point.
